Every company must constantly evaluate their current stage, trajectory, and goals for growth, and so do their financial sponsors. Failure to do so can leave companies with unsuitable products, ineffective distribution, and unanticipated cash flow issues. I've built a career growing companies by removing barriers before they become fatal and establishing a path to value, both for your customers and your business.
Based on my experience, I've developed a set of methodologies that can help you assess your culture, determine your readiness for growth and implement a system to manage that growth so that it meets or exceeds your expectations.
Using these methodologies will provide you with insight and information you can use to make better decisions as a management team or as a Private Equity investor. These methodologies can be used individually or as part of a longer-term strategic plan.
In addition, we can provide interim executive services to assist in the operationalization of these plans to ensure you or your portfolio company stays on track.''
Our services include:
1. The Target Assessment Process (TAP) uses a series of proprietary research and analytic methods to explore the overall health of the company as it relates to its ability to successfully meet growth and profit objectives. This process will assess the market, the company’s go-to-market, the product (s), the organization and people, the core business processes, and the application infrastructure. This process will establish a baseline score for evaluating risk and return and will be used as a foundation element in analyzing operational readiness.
2. The Management Assessment Process (MAP) reviews the management team of a company for stage-appropriate skills and experience. Each executive is interviewed and assessed based on a number of skills, including leadership, management, commitment, drive and emotional intelligence, among others. The management team is then assessed as an operating unit for collaboration and accountability.
3. The Operational Readiness Assessment (ORA) will establish a roadmap for integration and growth. This assessment will determine the scope and scale of effort across key functions, establishing the input for the Target Operating Model. In addition, the assessment will identify key areas of investment required to bring the company to operating velocity.
4. The Management Operating System (MOS) will leverage a non-proprietary framework to establish an operating cadence with the board and across the company and will create a common language across the company and its stakeholders. The MOS will also create a sustainable, portable framework that can continue to be leveraged post-exit.
